Help Maya walk again after the accident

Three weeks ago our girl Maya — a five-year-old kelpie who's been part of our family since she was a tiny pup — chased a ball onto the road and was hit by a car right outside our place. She survived, but the vet found a fractured pelvis and a spinal injury in her back legs. Maya needs specialist orthopaedic surgery and months of hydrotherapy and rehab to have any chance of running again. She is the softest, waggiest dog you'll ever meet — she sleeps on the kids' beds and greets every single visitor like a long-lost friend. The surgery and rehab are far beyond what our family can carry on our own. Anything you can give brings Maya one step closer to chasing that ball again. Thank you for reading her story.
